udevsynthesize "no such file" error at boot.

Hi,
While SimplyMepis 3.4-3 boots I get two of the following error messages:
/sbin/udevsynthesize: line39: /sysclass/vc/vcs2/uevent: No such file or directory
Any insight into why the file doesn't exist at this time and how I can fix it ?
My system:
A 1GHz Dell Inspiron 8100. I did a clean install of 3.4-3 (not an upgrade) and then I upgraded from the preconfigured apt source "apt.mepis.org/3.4 etch main" pool which resulted in a kernel being installed even though it was for the same version that was already installed (strange that).

Declan

Yep, same problem here.... And it seems like USB printer support is not completely reliable anymore... Twice already that I could not print, which was fixed the first time after a re-install. The 2nd time I just rebooted, and it worked OK then....
