Hi,
My fresh install of SimplyMepis 3.4-3 generates the following message during boot:
"Cannot fsck root fs because it is not mounted"
How do I fix this ?
There are several existing forum requests about this, but of those that I found none included a solution that works.
Many thanks,
Declan

Actually, I too didn't notice the error until I had done a "apt upgrade" from "deb http://apt.mepis.org/3.4/ etch main" of my "fresh" install.
same problem for me

I support your request for help on that matter, I'm experiencing the same problem myself. I tried some of the posted solutions (running fsck from the Live-CD) and nothing seems to fix that. For me, this problem appeared when I updated my system from a fresh 3.4-3 Final using *only* the mepis source: "deb http://apt.mepis.org/3.4/ etch main". It was not a problem before I made the update, so I'm considering re-installing without making any update, even the mepis ones. But I'm sure there is a simpler solution...
