ZyXEL 630-C1 USB modem

Hello everyone:

I've installed SimplyMEPIS on mi girlfriend PC, and she has an internet conection and a USB modem ZyXEL 630-C1 USB modem, and i can't connect to internet.

I know that there are a lot of tutorials about this modem configuration and how to add modules to the kernel, but i want to know if there are a way to do it in SimplyMEPIS 3.3.1-1

I've read that i need gcc 3.4 and other things like the ATM-devel and a module called cxacru or somthing.

Well i hope you know how to use this kind of modem to take advantage of internet on my girlfriend PC.
