Hi I'm new to this can someone post the link for the subscription site as I want to d/l the 4 extra iso cd's
or post a link how to update using aptget from the debian site but I believe
you have to modify something?

You just have to use synaptic(a gui front end for apt-get) no command line needed. But since your new it is reccommended that you just install what you need and not do full upgrades. For synaptic the only thing you got to do is go into the repo section in the menu and check(x) the box next to the repo you want to turn on, then press the reload button to update the list.
