upgrade from beta1 to beta2

Can I upgrade from beta 1 to beta 2 using synaptic?

Sure would be nice to have that option.

I would really welcome such an option to get between beta 1 and beta 2. Are you asking that question because of the section of the Beta2 announcement (http://www.mepis.org/node/9802) which reads:

That had me puzzled too. I then decided to interperet it as the following:

Once you are on beta2 you can do apt-get dist-upgrade without any reservations.

My $0.02c on that reading.

Again, it would be nice to have that option. Others may want to chime in and clarify that quote.
