Ekiga

I just did a search for Ekiga , my repos are set to etch and i didnt find it . What is it any way ?

Looks like you may have to try them all . If you do it at the command line with the -s switch you shouldnt get into too mutch trouble . Example ;

apt-get _s install ekigan . Pay close attention to output .

Jim, your example with the "-s" switch appears to have "oopsed". So I thought I'd chime in Smiling

The "-s" switch performs a "simulation run" and does not actually install anything. As Jim indicated watch the output and STOP if it says it's going to remove anything.

Here's Jim's (corrected) example:

apt-get -s install ekiga

Let us know how/if it works Smiling

I have just now installed

I have just now installed ekiga. Not in only one step.
I first have downloaded and installed the debian packages etch from http://www.gnomemeeting.org/index.php?rub=5&path=debian/etch_i386, but some dependencies were not resolved.
So, using apt-get install ekiga and apt-get update finally all the dependencies were resolved and I have obtained the pop-up for the initial parameters configuration of Ekiga.

Hey James!

Remind me not to get you angry. I have images of "Hell Boy" or "The Hulk" typing away at a keyboard right now.

Be afraid; be very afraid Smiling
