Tracker?

Is http://www.mepis.org/tracker going to be put back on the links to the left? It is (was) very handy.
Tracker Tab Missed

Yeah, I miss that tracker tab too. But as the situation warranted, just like Pantheus, I set it up as a bookmark instead.

How to Bookmark the Tracker Page

Silly me, of course Adrian's right. Here's how I did it:
1) On a browser , type http://www.mepis.org
2) Log in.
3) Change the url to http://www.mepis.org/tracker (Trust me, typing is faster than clicking on a tab.)
4) Add that page as a bookmark (ie, Ctrl+D in Firefox, Ctrl+B in Konqueror)
5) Never log out. Simply close the tab or the browser. Why? Because that way, you can just click on that bookmark next time and the Tracker page will immediately show YOUR updates.

What would be the best method to make an official request to Mepis.org ?

"Active forum discussions" - http://www.mepis.org/tracker

Also appears at top of http://www.mepis.org/forum - MEPIS Forum page
as "Active forum discussions" - http://www.mepis.org/tracker
Could be webmaster wants newbies to look at list of forums before just posting, just an idea.
Can "right click link and left click - "Bookmark this link" in Firefox.
Quicker for me than my slow typing.

Travis,
Warren & crew are working on some updates to the site, including an
entirely new theme. While trying to get things to work in the theme,
there were certain links in the menus that we cannot put back, which has
something to do with the taxonomy. We plan to get the new site up as
soon as possible, but it probably won't be until after Simply 6.0 goes
final. I will mention your request to Warren, but please note: click on
MEPIS Forum in the block, then click on Active Forum Discussions.

Tracker?

If you set up the url as a bookmark it works, and now that the link has been gone, and I use the bookmark I find it better anyway.
Better, because you don't have to scroll all the way back to the top just to find the tracker link in the menu, it is always exposed in the bookmark.
I don't mean it /shouldn't/ be in the menu, I just mean I've been forced to find a better way, anyway.
