Wireless won't work after Mepis 3.3

Linksys WPC54G works great with Mepis 3.3 but after that nil. Just downloaded AntiX RC1 and it is great but does not recognize card. Have very old laptop. NEC Pentium 266Mhz.
Please hlpe me configure my wifi with a Netgear WH311T card using DHCP and WPA

I have installed DWL-G510;s in two computers. an AMD64 and an Intel, running Mepis-6.5 I have trolled the net reading every thing I could get my hands on but they sill don't work.

The Mepis 7 beta2 works perfect with my Linksys wireless pci cd. But when Mepis xconfig downloaded the new nvidia drivers I lost everything, wireless, screen everyting.

I can not get this adapter to connect to internet with Mepis 6.5.
It has rt73.inf driver installed (checked with ndiswrapper -l )
LED blinks once in a while.
Setup as wlan0.
Belkin Pre-N wireless card (F5D8000) resisting install
