Using partimage I made images of of my dual boot harddrive and successfully have both xp and Mepis 6.0 running on the new much larger drive.

Could not mount device.
The reported error was:
mount: /dev/cdrom is not a block device (maybe try `-o loop'?)

This is the message I get when I try to mount my cdrom/dvd device. .. .

Is there support for acer monitor AL 1916W.When I boot from cd live it tells me input not supported and will not display splash screen.thanks john

I have a small system with older small hard disks. The main one was 3.5G which was divided into the main, cache, and home. The main one is now full and I would like to connect my other small drive as part of the main partition. I have seen this type of connection at work but have not help do this type of setup.

I rebooted my PC and SimplyMepis 6.0 no longer recognises my keyboard and mouse.
Both are USB and are working OK as I have rebooted into Windows and am using them
to write this

I think I will boot again, unplug them and plug them back in - I am still going
