Submitted by emelbert on Wed, 06/14/2006 - 14:20. Dev StatusIn SimplyMEPIS 6.0 RC 1, we have improved the way MEPIS handles pluggable devices, such as USB keys and CD drives. The changes will not take effect properly if the home directory has been preserved, so if you preserve your home directory, you will need to do some tweaking to restore the KDE defaults. This applies whether you upgrade from the pools or perform a fresh install. The RC 1 ISO and the updated MEPIS pools should be available Thursday, 6/15/06.

1. Use Konqueror for FTP (include no FTP client)
2. include gFTP
3. include KFTPGrabber
4. include kasablanca
