Kernel Update Contains Security Patches

Reissue of Kernel Source Package
Submitted by warren on Sun, 10/22/2006 - 19:50. KernelThanks to Carl at Naraanyaweb for pointing out that the latest kernel source package was defective. The linux-source-2.6.15 package has been rebuilt and uploaded to the pool today. Sorry for the inconvenience, Carl et al.

New Kernel Available
Submitted by emelbert on Thu, 09/28/2006 - 14:51. KernelThe new 2.6.15-27 kernel is now available in the MEPIS pool. This kernel is a security update from Ubuntu that Warren has reconfigured for MEPIS. If you are having minor hardware problems, you may want to give this new kernel a try.
